  • About Vulcan Holdings

    It was established to compliment sourcing and financing of general trading activities in Sierra Leone. Vulcan has grown to become a project development engine for the country and the region. Its goal is to identify new creative ideas, and turn them into successful projects. It engages in project development entailing:

    • Preparation of the projects’ feasibility and financial studies through reputable consultants.
    • Identification of viable innovative projects across different economic sectors (industry, energy, real estate, agriculture, etc.)
    • Raising the project’s required Debt & Equity capital through a reliable network of financial brokers and institutions.
    • Implementation of the project plan.
  • Key Purpose

    To act as the driving force behind generating new sales, leads and contacts whilst also incorporating strategies that focus on increased internal efficiency, higher productivity and an improvement of business processes.

  • Roles and Responsibilities

    Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related course. Qualification by experience is also considered.

    • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings.
    • Planning and preparing presentations.
    • Communicating new product developments to clients.
    • Oversee the development of marketing literature.
    • Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
    • Increasing the value of current customers whilst attracting new ones.
    • Developing proposals.
    • Coordinate new projects and existing projects to identify areas of process improvement.
    • Work with finance department to coordinate new program development and identify areas of process improvement.
    • Provide reports on client/customer satisfaction and review and implement customer service initiatives to address opportunities for increased customer satisfaction.
  • Requirements

    • Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
    • Experience in Sales, Marketing or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years-experience in a similar position driving business growth.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • IT fluency.
