  • Key Purpose

    Teaching English Language and English Literature to High School students and preparing them for the IGCSE.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assessing and monitoring of learners’ progress.
    • Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to all High School classes.
    • Encouraging learners to actively participate in the classroom.
    • Using a modern and dynamic teaching approach which allows students to communicate easily using the English language.
    • Researching and devising entertaining, interesting, creative and productive lessons for learners.
    • Teaching small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
    • Recording learners’ progress by setting and marking coursework and examinations.
    • Participating in staff meetings and extra-curricular activities.
  • About you/must-haves for the position

    • Bachelor’s degree or Masters in English Language or Literature.
    • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Teaching Field.
    • Specific experience in English Language and Literature.
    • Previous experience in teaching the IGCSE would be an advantage.
