  • The Position

    Reporting to the LPG Plant Manager, the LPG Plant Stocks Analyst will be responsible for maintaining inventory accounting of stocks, product management and all documentation and control processes for product in storage, receipt and shipments.

  • Key responsibilities

    To act as the driving force behind generating new sales, leads and contacts whilst also incorporating strategies that focus on increased internal efficiency, higher productivity and an improvement of business processes.

    • Maintaining proper inventory accounting of stocks and managing all documentation and control processes for stocks in storage, stock receipts and shipments
    • Carrying out regular and independent checks on physical storage tanks, start-up of daily operations, and product transfers in and out of the plant.
    • Preparing daily inventory report on gain/loss status base and recommending corrective measures on gains/losses above the stipulated tolerance levels and propose corrective measures.
    • Preparing required stock reports at required frequency.
    • Ensuring accuracy in the following areas:
      1. - Calculating and confirming receipt of products.
      2. - Ensuring that ISO procedures related to stock control and stock receipt are adhered to.
      3. - Ensuring timely calculations and determination of bulk in transit and accordance to product control and measurements.
  • Experience

    Minimum 2 years relevant experience.

  • Skills and Attributes

    • Diploma in Business related field.
    • Have a good experience of inventory management processes.
    • Strong understanding of LPG requirements.
    • Advanced analytical skills.
