Organisation of the Year'21

Background

Every year Afriqia HR Solutions has supported organisations focused on youth development and/or female empowerment in a bid to extend their support services to organisations with aligned vision/mission that may not have the budget to access such technical expertise as regularly as or when would be necessary.

Current Call

In 2021, we would like to increase our call criteria to support any not for profit or public sector organisation that may benefit from any or a number of the following services:

  • Training
  • Recruitment
  • HR Advisory Services

If successful, the organisation will receive access to our full consultancy team and associated resources for the period of March 2021 to January 2022. An agreed-on suite of services and an associated workplan will be produced in collaboration with benefiting organisation.

This call is open to organisations located both in and out of Freetown but organisations out of Freetown may incur minor expenses to facilitate our support services.


Criteria for Selection

The organisation selected must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Must be legally and locally registered for at least the last 3 years with all relevant authorities.
  • Must not be for profit in any kind or have any of its subsidiary arms be profit making.
  • Must display a good track record in its area of activity/operation which demonstrates credibility.
  • Must not be currently in receipt of any other form of capacity building grant or pro bono advisory services within any of the areas indicated above.
  • Must have a minimum of a 75% to 25% ratio of national to foreign staff. Preference will be given to organisations with 100% national staff.

Preference will also be given to organisations employing more female staff at management level and organisations with a focus on capacity building and development in their core activities.
