  • Key Purpose

    To help build business activities by discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction.

  • Duties

    • Assist customers by selling products and meeting their needs.
    • Provide super quality services to customers.
    • Manage existing accounts. obtain orders and establish new accounts.
    • Plan and organise daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
    • Focus sale efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
    • Meet with potential clients and act as their consultant.
    • Identify buyer persona profiles.
    • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
    • Keep management informed by submitting timely reports on all activities and updates, such as weekly work plans.
    • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
    • Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
    • Stay updated on the latest sales trends and best practices.
  • Education and Experience

    • Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
    • A minimum of four years of experience in Marketing or related field.
    • FMCG sales experience is required.
    • Proven experience in making a sale (Closing).

    • Ability to maintain good client relationships.
    • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
    • Self-motivated.
    • Ability to present and operate in a confident manner.
    • Strong problem solving skills.
    • Good knowledge in a range of marketing techniques, concepts and industry knowledge.
    • Fluency in English and Krio.
