  • Key Purpose

    To increase products under Benco Trading Ltd. umbrella and ensure sales of existing and new products range. This would take place predominantly through market knowledge/research, competitor analysis, implementation of sales plans and the supervision of an effective and high performing sales team.

  • Duties

    • Determining annual unit and gross profit plans by devising sales and marketing strategies that are focused on and driven by analyzing trends and results.
    • Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories.
    • Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
    • Maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts, always considering room for expansion in new products.
    • Establishing and adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply and demand.
    • Recruiting, selecting and orienting a sales team.
    • Maintain a very high standard of product and brand knowledge in the team.
    • Manage team compliance with all company policies and procedures, Customs regulations and relevant trading laws, raising any concerns or issues when necessary.
  • Education & Experience

    • Business Administration/Sales/Marketing Qualifications.
    • Experience driving sales strategies with a focus on FMCGs.
    • Minimum 5 years sales experience required.
    • Proficient in using MS tools, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
    • Working knowledge of the West Africa, specially Sierra Leone, market preferred.
